Innovation in Wine Labels

I just stumbled across a really innovative design idea for wine labels via Noisy Decent Graphics.

If you’re at a friends place for dinner and you have a really, really nice bottle of wine, how often do you remember its name when you’re shopping for wine again? Most of us have better things to remember, anyway. Or maybe you’re a bit tipsy and won’t even remember whether it was a bottle of red or a bottle of white. Anyway, this is one of the ideas that makes you smack your head and ask yourself why you didn’t think of this

This is a great idea! I sometimes try to tear off wine labels of bottles that I have enjoyed with greater and lesser success depending on the tenacity of the glue and how much of the bottle’s contents I’ve had the chance to enjoy. I linked to this post today in my blog entry at the Innovators-Network, as this type of “why didn’t I think of it” idea is just what people need to see! Cheers!

Great idea. I always forget such things (not only because I am a bit tipsy) ;) Will we see those labels in “action”?

Heh nice idea :), I would really like to see that stuff on wine bottles around here :). That could help against my amnesia ;) :D.
